Rebrand & Redesign
Assisting in rebranding and redesigning the Columbia University Event Management website required a touch of whimsy and a keen eye for detail. The goal was to show, not tell — prioritizing images over text. To create the catering services page, I delved into the client’s archives and selected a series of images that best represent the services offered, then wrote copy to accompany them. I also wrote the introduction for the print catering menu.
Test Your Rock IQ Sweepstakes
The Test Your Rock IQ Sweepstakes was designed to attract Facebook followers and expand the email newsletter subscriber list for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. I created the quiz and composed all of the optimized copy. My parents are huge fans of classic rock, so really, I’ve been training my whole life for this project! The rock ‘n’ roll theme presented an opportunity to weave popular song lyrics throughout the text, making it especially fun to research and write.
